Ingredients:
Beetroot (large) - 1
Onion (medium) - 1
Green chillies - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal - 1 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Turmeric - pinch
Curry leaves - 1 leaflet
Oil - 2 tbsp
Procedure:
- Wash, peel, grate beetroot and set aside.
- Take a kadai, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, green chillies, chopped onions, curry leaves and fry them.
- Now add grated beetroot and continue frying until the raw smell is disappeared.
- Add turmeric, ginger garlic paste and continue frying for few more minutes.
- Sprinkle some coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and mix well.
- Saute until it turns soft and serve with rice or roti.
