Raw Plantains - 2
Onions (large) - 2
Green chillies - 4
Milk - 1/4 cup
Turmeric - pinch
Salt - as per taste
Curry leaves - 1 leaflet
Oil - 2 tbsp
Procedure:
- Wash, peel and chop plantains into half-inch cubes, finely chop onions and set aside.
- In a pan, heat oil, add chopped green chillies, curry leaves and stir well.
- Add finely chopped onions and saute them until they are transparent.
- Now add plantain pieces, little water and cook them with occasional stirring by closing the lid.
- When plantain pieces turn soft, add milk little by little until the milk is completely incorporated in to curry.
- Finally add salt and mix well. Serve hot with rice.
