Biyyam rava - 1 cup
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 cup
Bengal gram - 1 tbsp
Black gram - 1/2 tbsp
Green chillies - 2-3
Red chillies - 2
Tamarind juice/Lemon juice - 3-4 tbsp
Curry leaves - 1 leaflet
Turmeric - pinch
Salt - as per taste
Water - 2 cups
Oil - 2 tbsp
Procedure:
- Take a pan, heat oil, add bengal gram, black gram, green chillies, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies, turmeric, curry leaves and stir well.
- Add water, salt and mix well.
- When water is boiling, add ravva little by little with continuous stirring (to prevent lumps).
- Add tamarind juice or lemon juice and mix well.
