Chikkudukaaya Koora (Indian Broad Beans Curry)


Ingredients:
Chikkudukaayalu - 250gm
Potato (medium) - 1
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Bengal gram - 1 tbsp
Black gram - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/4 sp
Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Curry leaves - 1 leaflet
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2tbsp
Procedure:
  1. Wash, clean and chop broad beans and potato in to half inch pieces.
  2. Boil them seperately and set aside.
  3. Take a pan, add oil and heat it. Add bengal gram, black gram and roast them for 1 min.
  4. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and stir them.
  5. Now add boiled broad beans and potato pieces in to the pan and mix well.
  6. Add turmeric, red chilly powder, salt and saute them for 2-3 min by closing the lid.
  7. Switch-off the flame and garnish with finely chopped coriander.
