Godhuma rava (Wheat rava) - 1/2 cup
Onion (medium) - 1
Cashews/Groundnuts - 10
Green chillies - 3-4
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Chana dal (Senagapappu) - 1 sp
Black gram (Minappapu) - 3/4 sp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 sp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 sp
Curry leaves - 1-2 leaflets
Salt - as per taste
Water - 1 3/4 cup
Oil - 4-5 tbsp
Procedure:
1. Chop onion length wise in to thin slits.
2. Take a large pan and add oil, when oil is hot, add chanadal, blackgram, green chillies, finely chopped ginger and fry them for 2 min.
3. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, cashews/groundnuts, stir well for 1 min and add onion pieces, saute them and add salt & water.
4. When water is boiling, add rawa slowly by continuous stirring (adding at a time may result in lumps).
5. Cover the pan with a lid for 2-3 min and turn to low flame.
6. Finally mix the entire contents and serve hot with lemon or sugar.
